A successful couple seems to have everything in life, except for a baby. They sign on a young student to be the surrogate mother and what originally starts off as a "deliver and run" transaction takes on some unexpected twists. The husband-wife-surrogate mother relationship is more than they can handle and a subtle quadruple relationship starts to gather in the household.
